Paxyshia (pa-see-SHEE-yah) is a Hmong Minnesota native who has loved fashion from an early age. Fashion’s always been a form of art and an outlet for creativity. Her love for fashion has bled into her Instagram and focuses on plus-size fashion content. Paxyshia strives to bring diversity to the Hmong community and share fat liberation and body positivity in all aspects of her life.

Having earned an Associates in Apparel Technologies from Minneapolis College in 2020, she’s been working at Cake Plus-Size Resale as a co-manager where she manages the social media, online shop, and day-to-day shop operations.

Although she’s been styling friends and family members for very long, she’s recently been working with plus-size clients through Cake Plus-Size Resale to help them find their style, give them styling tips and guide them through wardrobe changes through Cake’s Style Sessions.

With Solana Styling, she hopes to help folks of all ages, sizes, genders and styles find some joy in their closets and to feel happy wherever they are in whatever they’re wearing.

When Paxyshia is not doing anything fashion related, you can usually find her at home reading a book with her cat, Zuko, lounging nearby.
